Cypress at Point Lobos

Point Lobos has numerous photographic opportunities for all kinds of nature photography. Focus on improving your macro skills by exploring the tide pools at Weston Beach, practice your seascapes at Whalers Cove, or photograph sea life, including harbor seals, sea birds, and otters. We'll work all over the park, from the Cyprus groves to Weston Beach. Low tide is around 3:45 pm.

The park closes at 7:00pm. Optionally, and if the weather cooperates, we can find a place to grab a quick bite, then look for a spot for a sunset shot along 17 Mile Drive near Carmel. Sunset is around 8:30pm.
