My "A-Picture-a-Day" Project (APAD)

by member Carl Rosendahl

"In July of 2007 I gave myself the goal of shooting a photograph and posting it online every day for a year. I wanted to become a better photographer, and I liked the idea of having to be creative every single day. 366 days later I completed the project without missing a day. My photography definitely improved, and along the way I learned a lot about the creative process, about workflow and managing 22,000 photos, and even a bit about social skills. Through a slide show of some of my best and worst photos I'll share the experience of such a project and the lessons learned."
