An image by PACC member Nadine Levin, Noir-Like Window Scene, has been selected for placement on The Curated Fridge in its Spring Show in Somerville, MA. The theme of the show is Cinematic. The Curated Fridge solicited images that evoke the mood, atmosphere, and storytelling techniques commonly found within filmmaking. Noir-Like Window Scene received an Honorable Mention in PACC’s January, 2024, Digital Competition. About seventy-five images were selected from more than 500 submissions. The show will move to Boston’s Panopticon Gallery in June.
Jurors for the show were Boston-based fine art photographers and owners of Panopticon Gallery, Alexa Cushing and Connor Noll.

This show is already mounted on the fridge and may be seen at https://www.thecuratedfridge.com/Fridge-Shows-1/Spring-2024. Noir is near the upper left-hand corner on the side of the fridge.
The Curated Fridge is the brainchild of Yorgos Efthymiadis, an artist/curator from Greece who lives in Somerville. He created the gallery in his kitchen in 2015. The Fridge calls for print entries -- oops, I mean entrées – no larger than 5”x5” or 4”x6”, four times a year. Submissions are always free. The juror/curators are fine art photography experts. The selected images are affixed to the front and one side of the refrigerator, and the show is presented online via its website, Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms. The idea behind this project is to celebrate fine art photography and connect photographers from around the world.
