Homage to Isadora Duncan, an image by PACC member Lisa Erdberg, was selected by the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, for inclusion in its in-gallery Color Exhibition.  The SE Center wanted to celebrate color in all its forms, and solicited the ability to see the photographer’s mind at work, use of visual composition, and original thinking.  The juror was Michael Pannier, SE Center’s founder and director.  The exhibition runs from July 5 through July 27; and the opening reception will take place on July 5, 6 to 8 pm.

Lisa says:  The community garden at Fort Mason is one of my favorite places.  I started spending a lot of time there during the pandemic and discovered the amazing varieties of dahlias that bloom in the spring and summer, so of course I had to do a dahlia project.  The unusual shape of this one appealed to me, especially the hand-like petals, and the colors were stunning.  I titled it “Homage to Isadora Duncan” because of its over-the-top flamboyance.
