Le Guardian, an image by Chris Stevens-Yu, was awarded Honorable Mention in the Nature Professional category of the 2024 Monochrome Photography Awards.
Chris says: I visited the Camargue region of southern France this May. I wanted to translate the dramatic feeling of watching a group of the white horses run through the marshland. I used a slow shutter to show the movement of the horses yet I was able to hold the guardian in focus to add to the dramatic energy.
