An image by Nadine Levin, Channeling the Matriarch of Our Family, was selected for inclusion in the online Women by Women Exhibition at the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, SC. Although photography has a long tradition of representing women as subjects, the objective of this exposition was to present images of women by women, offering a view of the many facets of womanhood and women’s role in society. Elinor Carucci, a fine art photographer and teacher at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, was the juror. The exhibition will run from March 1 through March 30 and may be seen at https://www.sec4p.com/women-25-online-exhibition.
Channeling the Matriarch of Our Family is a self-portrait that is part of Nadine’s Inconstant Harmony project.
