Judy Kramer continues her series sponsored by Avenidas, Photo Journeys with Judy, with Alaska in Winter : Glaciers, Mountains, and Northern Lights. It includes images from a March 2025 photography workshop in Alaska with Michael and Lauri DeYoung. On that trip, she braved the climate of the North (-7° F one night) and took a journey from Anchorage northeast to Delta Junction. She photographed glaciers, the Northern Lights, and the snow-covered peaks of the Talkeetna, Chugach, and Alaska Range mountains. Judy’s Zoom presentation will take place on Friday, August 22, from 2 to 3 pm. Registration will also get you a recording of the program, even if you won’t be able to see it live.
Judy also has an image in the upcoming Pacific Art League exhibition, California Dreaming, that runs from September 5 through September 23. The opening reception will take place on September 5 from 5:30 to 8 pm.
