Fleeting, an image by Phil Lewenthal was one of two images awarded Honorable Mention by The Image Flow Photography Center in San Anselmo for its December Photo of the Month competition. The theme was abundance. Photographers were invited to indulge in maximalism, through repetition, collection, bold combination, and more – photos that contain multitudes, filled to the brim. Photo of the Month winning images are featured in The Image Flows’ gallery, Instagram and Facebook pages.
Fleetingis a photo of a war memorial hillside near the Lafayette BART station, and was taken in December. It continues Phil’s longtime exploration of time exposures.

The Image Flow Photography Center, based in San Anselmo, was founded in 2008 by Stuart Schwartz to provide high-quality photographic printing services to Marin County. The Image Flow aims to celebrate photography in all its forms and to provide a platform for photographers of all levels to create work, exchange ideas, and to innovate the medium of photography.
