Kathy Raffel was selected by Flickr to curate an album of her images. Flickr’s intention was to highlight the work of some of the amazing and talented women photographers. Flickr made an excellent choice. Sit down and take time to check out and salivate upon the glorious wildlife images that Kathy chose here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/flickr/galleries/72157724803761232/
Kathy says: While I like to take pictures of architecture, patterns, and people, my favorite subjects are birds, mammals, and reptiles photographed in their natural habitat. Since retirement in 2019, I have been able to take photos in multiple countries and have had the privilege of seeing many endangered species in the wild as I have become deeply involved in wildlife conservation. In this album, I have shared some of my personal favorites. And she adds: I have learned so much and been very inspired by my fellow PACC members.

Flickr, an image- and video-hosting service, was launched in 2004 by Ludicorp, a Vancouver -based company founded by Stewart Butterfield and Caterina Fake. Flickr is now owned by SmugMug.
