The theme for this field trip is photography and socializing at THREE very different photography locations on the nearby Pacific Coast. Join other club members and their guests at Bean Hollow State Beach, a Halloween Pumkin Farm, and Downtown Half Moon Bay on Friday, Oct 21, 2022

Depending upon your interests and schedule, you may want to join us at one or multiple locations. 
 
After the Meet-up at Bean Hollow State Beach at 10:30am, treat the following schedule as a suggestion.  If a location inspires you, stay longer.  If the location bores you, move on to the next location or discover your own location.

Bean Hollow State Beach On Google Maps search for 12380 CA-1, Pescadero, CA 94060 If you search on Google Maps for "Bean Hollow State Beach" you will be directed a mile South of where we meet	10:30a-10:45a Group gathers 10:45a-11:45a Photography 11:45a-12:15p Picnic Lunch	At 10:45am we form small groups to go out and photograph.  The rocks on this beach are very rough - consider having hiking shoes/boots or sneakers with good soles essential.  Don't climb on the rocks beyond what you feel confident doing. A major reason to go out in small groups is for safety.
Bob's Vegetable Stand & Pumpkin Farm It's on Google Maps	12:30p-1:15p Photography	Well run and scenic pumpkin farm/stand, maybe you'll have some good "street photography opportunities" with people.  A good place to buy pumpkins Located 12 miles North of Bean Hollow.  It is on the East Side of Hwy 1.  Look for lots of Orange Pumpkins
Downtown Half Moon Bay Go to Main Street	1:30p-2:30p Photography	Go Downtown, park and see what kind of Street Photography or other styles work for you.
Moonside Bakery & Cafe 604 Main Street, Half Moon Bay	2:30p - 3:30pm Coffee & Social	A great coffee shop and bakery, with enough space for our group to gather.  Leaving at 3:30pm should enable you to avoid the commute traffic.

We will be at Bean Hollow Beach from 10:30am to 12:00pm; picnic lunch from 12:00 to 12:30pm at Bean Hollow Beach at the picnic tables. NOTE: we are meeting at the Northern Bean Hollow State Beach parking - not the southern parking lot more than a mile south.

The part of Bean Hollow State Beach for this field trip does not look like what most people think of as a beach.  This beach is VERY rugged, so this "beach" is only suitable for those who are very sure-footed. Wearing hiking shoes or boots are strongly recommended.  See photos above and below.
