An image by PACC member Bob Henderson has been selected as a finalist in the 2021 photography contest of the Audubon Community Nature Center in Jamestown, NY.
The annual contest comprises three categories: Flora, Fauna, and Landscape. A winner and three finalists are selected for each category in the adult and youth divisions.
Bob’s image, Milky Way over the Maine Coast, was taken during a Milky Way workshop in Maine in 2019. He says: It was my intention to have the curve of the shoreline lead the viewer to where the Milky Way disappeared below the coast line. In addition to the reflection of the stars in the water, there is another photographer on the shore on the right side.
This image received an Honorable Mention in the PACC 2020 Annual Print Competition.
