Vardan says:
There are many things hidden from us. Finding the way to reveal them is what interests me. These images are attempt to trigger viewer’s exploration of hidden by intentionally covering objects and then emphasizing the color and texture visible in halfway unwrapped objects.
These images are printed on canvas and then varnished using clear acrylic that retains the brushstrokes. For club members who are interested in painterly images I highly recommend this technique.
The in-gallery exhibition will take place January 14 through February 11; the opening reception will be Friday, January 14. The exhibition page currently shows a list of the names of the artists as well as Vardan’s image, Still Life with Tulip and Oranges:

3 Square Art is the newest creative art center in Fort Collins. It was born out the simple concept to create a space were artists, art lovers, and art buyers can come together and create art, share art, learn art, and buy art. In addition to a gallery, 3 Square Art comprises the 3SA Academy of Fine Arts (currently closed due to Covid) and studio rental space for artists.
