Ocean Light, an image by PACC member Phil Lewenthal, was selected by the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, for inclusion in its All About the Light exhibition. Light and shadow have been the foundation of photography since the beginning. While illumination is important, darkness is an equally compelling component; together, they are the elements of a successful photograph. Susan Burnstine was the juror. The in-gallery exhibition will take place March 4 – 26. The fascinating images in the exhibition are already online: https://www.sec4p.com/light-22-online-exhibition

Phil says: This was a photo I took on Route One in December, 2011. I've been fascinated by crepuscular (or "God") rays, and minimalism, for a long while, and this sight gave the opportunity to explore both in the same image.
