An Image by PACC member Jim Colton has been selected for inclusion in the Black and White: 2022 juried group photo show at the Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Black and White: 2022 comprises a Gallery Exhibition of 24 images and an On-Line Annex Exhibition of an additional 30 images. Jim’s image, The Unpainted Desert, was accepted for the On-Line Annex Exhibition.
Jim says about The Unpainted Desert: I took this in Petrified Forest National Park in March of 2015. Of course I shot the brightly painted desert in color but, inspired by some of the great black and white work I have seen in the club lately, I thought a black and white version would show off the range of tones and the many textures of this scene. I think this was the right choice.
