About the exhibit:
Women’s View 2022, the 17th annual San Mateo County Women’s Art Show, recognizes, celebrates, and honors women, non-binary, and gender nonconforming artists who live or work in San Mateo County. Women’s View 2022 is proudly co-sponsored by San Mateo County’s Commission on the Status of Women in March, National Women’s History Month.
Artwork from over 70 local artists is on view in The Caldwell & Community Galleries. The exhibition features a diverse range of medium: painting, photography, charcoal drawing, mixed media, digital painting, and yarn work.
The artists featured in Women’s View 2022 likewise represent a great diversity reflective of the larger San Mateo County community. In their artistic practices, these artists draw on a vast array of heritages, lived experiences, and finely tuned imaginations.
The exhibition runs from March 1 through April 29. The Caldwell and Community Galleries are located on the first and lower floor levels of 400 County Center.
