An image by PACC member Phil Lewenthal, What Lurks, has been published in the fall issue of SHOTS Magazine. The theme of the Fall 2022 No. 157 issue is Myth and Memory. About this moody image, Phil says: This is a 5-second exposure. I was on the Bluff Trail at Sea Ranch and was struck by the angle of this rock formation and the way the light played on the waves that washed over it. I entered the image in the PACC print competition in August and the digital commentary program in September under the title Defiance, but have since changed the title to What Lurks, which is the title used in the magazine.

SHOTS is an independent, reader-supported journal of eclectic fine art photography in its 34th year of publication.
