About PACC
The Palo Alto Camera Club (PACC) was founded in 1935 and is co-sponsored by the City of Palo Alto, Division of Arts and Sciences. We are a group of serious amateur and some professional photographers interested in working together to enhance our photographic skills and artistic vision.
Who Joins PACC?
Members from surrounding communities have an interest in enhancing their knowledge in everything from specific styles of photography to photographic gear to current techniques in post-processing. Each of us has different skill levels, experience and expectations from beginners to more advanced. Members use a wide variety of photographic equipment and readily share their knowledge thus becoming a valuable educational resource.
What Activities Are Available to Club Members?
Throughout the year members participate in a variety of activities: monthly competitions, image critiques, skill building workshops and field trips. Members have opportunities to learn from other club members in small groups, get alerted to photography exhibits and have the opportunity to share their images with the public in local exhibitions.

Where and When are Club Meetings Held?
Due to the pandemic, the majority of our meetings are currently held online using Zoom, Wednesday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:00pm. We look forward to meeting in person soon.
In 2020 PACC launched Small Group Gatherings. These are informal meetings of 10 or fewer members who meet either online or in person. Each group has a host and agrees on a focus, meeting times and frequency.
The best way to see whether PACC is for you is to attend a few meetings.
Join us as our guest for a few club meetings to observe the activities and meet members in an informal way. You might sample 2-3 different types of meetings such as Digital Competition, Print Competition or Member Image Review.
