A series of images by PACC member Suz McFadden has been selected for inclusion in MOVEUX Magazine’s February 2022, Issue 6, publication.
The portrait series features Bay Area artist and model Nikhat Afza, who paints colorful abstract paintings with acrylics. Suz used Nikhat’s artwork as the inspiration for portraits of Nikhat herself – from makeup inspired by her designs, created by Michelle Montes, to the final composite photographs – so that art and artist become one.
Nikhat commented: “Thank you to Suz McFadden Photo for creating and putting this concept together where you very beautifully reflected both sides of my world - as a painter and as a model. Thank you, Michelle Montes, for taking my art works and putting them into abstract makeup looks.”
Suz could not have asked for a more talented and professional team of women to work with. She is beyond pleased with the final series, entitled Art | ist.
