Ellen Gilkerson | Published on 5/24/2023

An image by PACC member Elaine Heron has been selected for inclusion in Pacific Art League’s Pets & Animals Group Show.  The juror was Sam Price, a San Francisco-based collage artist and art educator.  The exhibition runs from June 2 through June 27.  The opening reception will take place on Friday, June 2, 5:30 to 8:00 pm.  Awards will be announced at 6:30.  Everyone is invited to attend this First Friday event.

Elaine’s black-and white image is Face-to-Face with a Polar Bear.  She took the image near Churchill, Canada, where bears gather in November to go out on the ice when the bay freezes.
